  1. I really hope this lowers down my anxiety. Somehow I managed to do exercise for last two months…but it has not helped me to deal with anxiety. If I can pull that exercise routine,I can definitely do this!

  2. 30th August 2021. Looking forward to advancing my practice and becoming more mindful as I do it! Bring on the next 30 days and the improvements that I'm sure I'll see!
Say hey if you're starting out too! โค

  3. Decided start yoga and Iโ€™ve just completed day 1 with you. I really enjoyed this! stretching out and letting go felt amazing. Canโ€™t wait to continue on

  4. just started. i was really depressed and feel empty for days but after doing this i feel butterflies lol. i did yoga before around a week. with you im starting again. i can do it!!!

  5. so I woke up today feeling like poop lol my back has been super tight lately so I haven't been sleeping well, and I thought ''maybe a yoga class will help me with that''.. This was my first time ever doing yoga and I'm hooked !!!! Adriene you are amazing!!!! can't wait for day 2!

  6. im recently healing from a foot injury a year ago and omg is it ever the most difficult to do downward dog without my hips and calves cramping up x( lol

  7. How could I substitute my sitting position if I can barely cross my legs? I'm so frustrated because I can't do this "ease into it" video….

  8. Trying this for this first time, harder than I expected for me. Hopefully if I stick at it it will become easier ๐Ÿ˜Š

  9. I find it really hard to stay on my palm, I don't really understand why, feels like I've got too much pressure there.

  10. So, in April this year (2021), I decided that I wanted to try yoga. I've always wanted to try Yoga, but I've never actually done it before or ever attempted to do it. About mid-April, after my birthday, I went looking for a nice, beginner yoga video and found Adriene's channel, great! I found a nice and simple 20 min (give or take) beginner video, did it, and felt amazing afterward! So, I made it a routine that I would get up and do this 20-minute beginner yoga video each morning. I did this for about two and a half weeks solid with about 3 rest days in between total. And then (whether or not it was related to the yoga or whether I picked up a bag of shopping wrong) but gradually, I felt a seriously sharp pain in my lower back (I'm 24 by the way). I decided to take a few more rest days before doing yoga again but then decided that one more session might help stretch out whatever was hurting, so back to the 20-minute video I went. My god, the pain in my lower back grew sharper and sharper to the point I couldn't breathe without it hurting (I cried at least once every day for a week because whatever I had done hurt that much). Again, I have no idea whether it was yoga-related or whether I had done something else – I think it was picking up a bag of shopping – to aggravate my back; it was a gradual pain that developed rapidly, rather than came on immediately.
So anyway, my lower back finally felt better about two months after the pain started in April, which takes us to about June 2021. We're in August now and I have been wanting to give yoga another try. I will admit, the pain (wherever it came from) scared me away from yoga. Maybe I don't do it as 'full-on' as I did the first time (as I said, I only did 20 mins in the morning and repeated that every morning bar one or two days, but everyone's body is different and perhaps that was too much for me). So, even though these 30-day videos by Adriene were posted in 2015, I've literally only just seen them today, and saw in the comments that people are saying 'If you're starting out/a beginner this is great.'
I've got my fingers crossed, I've fished out the yoga mat that I bought back in April and I'm hoping this series of yoga will be good to me! I really, really want to do this and now that I feel I've recovered from my silly, sudden back pain, I want to give it another try. Wish me luck!!

  11. Starting 30 day, I have to say, I am very over weight and haven't worked put in a long time so this kicked my ass. Hopefully I can keep with it, but it's a little disheartening how difficult this was for me because I used to be good at yoga.

  12. I think Iโ€™ve never liked anyone the second I saw like I liked you. Welcome to my life and my soul tribe Adriene๐Ÿค

Still my all time favourite! Such a great all round body stretch and tone, gets the energy flowing every time ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’œ Namaste ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

  14. first timer here! not a flexible person and pretty thicc, so some poses/moves (especially that rocking one jfc) were hard for me to do and hold. gonna have to work on graceful those transitions too. but I'm on that journey of self-improvement, baby. i spent most of last year's lockdown working on my mental health, introducing mindfulness and creating a home environment filled with peace and bliss. now, i'm working on improving my physical health. i ended up getting a peloton and have been riding 6 days a week for four weeks so far (aiming daily for an hour's worth of classes/rides) and now i'm starting 30 days of yoga for some post-ride stretching and to help quiet my mind in the afternoon. good luck to everyone out there starting this journey with me! you're gonna kill it. see you all in 29 days ๐Ÿค™

  15. Any tips on how I can make this easier in terms of the sitting position? My right hip doesn't go down far enough to be comfortable at all, I can't get my right foot any closer in than where it sits in the first position ๐Ÿ™„ I want to get back into yoga but it gets so painful ๐Ÿ˜”

  16. I've already been doing weightlifting exercises for about two years, but decided adding in some yoga might be good for developing flexibility in addition to strength training regimen. Didn't know what I would think about it, but I actually find it to be a very relaxing and calming practice! Can't wait for the next day's video! ๐Ÿ˜€

  17. I just chance upon your 30 days of yoga n plan to try it out. Besides a mat, what else should I prepare? Is there a good time to do yoga?
