Yoga for When You Are Feeling Scared | Yoga With Adriene

Let’s face it. The world can feel scary sometimes, really scary. Our fight and flight response is turned on and our rest and repair response is whispering, “pick me pick me.”

This deep and comforting practice, yoga for when you’re feeling scared, is designed for your nervous system. We will tend to the spine, the neck, and shoulders, connect to your center and open the hips.

Get ready to breathe deep, slow down, STRETCH, and Find What Feels Good for better physical, emotional, and mental health.

I got your back.

Let me know how it goes for you in the comment section down below.

  1. I lost my job (that i poured my heart and soul into) a few weeks ago (they just hired someone else and never even told me personally i just got a letter) and i am buckling under the weight of financial anxiety and shame and I'm so scared of being an absolute failure at only 31. This video is a good start for me to finally pick myself up again, get out of my depression, and look forward. Thank you.

  2. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooow ulalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 😀😎🤍👍♥️🇵🇱💝😍🤎🌷💌💚💔💙💛💕🌈😗💓💜😉💟💞💗💖❣️❤️💘

  3. I couldn't stop giggling imagining somebody new to your videos starting with this one. They see that spooky intro, and then you're saying things like, "extend thine limbs out." 😂

  4. Adriene is so beautiful and magickal! This video was exactly what I needed.
I'm coping with so much grief right now and taking time to sit with myself and get present in my body is sooo therapeutic and it's often emotional.

  5. I’ve been dealing with some anxiety and this is the first time in a month I’ve felt calm. I just found your channel and so greatful I did. Thank you.

  6. This is a great practice to do before meditation, – soothes the breath and starts you off on a calm ,steady basis. Adrienes yoga has developed and matured over the years to become so insightful and sensitIve and all her own. She is the best !

  7. it's about time I fix my relationship with exercise because I really miss it, but I'm scared I'll become perfectionistic about it.. I'm going to try to start following Adriene's yoga videos, then in a few months I'll see if I'm strong enough to move over to strength or running without relapsing into an ed.

  8. Back over to Oct 2021 STILL playlist overtime. 42 of 42 Nov 13, 2021 ……..never leave a practice on the table….done

  9. The entire time I do this practice I feel in a cocoon of love and safety. Adriene speaks such truth – none of you are alone, we’re all in this together 😊

  11. Hi there, this is what you tube and internet world is great for people. Improving their real life conditions when we have pandemic or remote locations. Unlike multibillion gaming industry, this is the real contribution to betterment. If anything scares me, is the unreal world many billions are spending their time and money on while governments and involved activists concern about health of people and planet are just begging for resources to curb the crisis. May we rise to the real life challenges and yoga, meditation are here to help now more then ever before. Thank you for channel.

  12. "Notice if you might be a little collapsed in the heart" Powerful metaphor there for me and I'm sure lots of others 🖤

  13. I always read the video thumbnail as yoga for when you feel SACRED, so when the video intro started I was like WTF?

  14. When you said "I have your back", just hearing those words brought so much comfort and made me feel like I can handle what life is throwing at me
